Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qana, laid the foundation stone for the headquarters of the Engineers Club on an area of 10 thousand square meters in the new city of Qana.
This was attended by General Ayman Al-Saeed, Assistant General Secretary of Qena Governorate, Engineer Tariq Al-Nabarawi, Captain General of Engineers, Engineer Ayman Rashad, President of the New Qena City Unit, Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid, Captain of Qena Engineers, Engineer Abdul Rahim Al-Zokeem, Vice President of the Unit, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Noubi, General Manager of the Educational Infrastructure Authority in Qena and a few. On his side, the Captain of Engineers in Qana Governorate said that the Engineers Club in the New Qena City has been allocated by the New Urban Societies Authority, pointing out that the club includes an administrative, social building, restaurant, cafeteria, Pentecostal playground, gym, hot and cold swimming pool and training hall.
Abu zeid added that an architecture competition for club designs has been announced, in order to find a better environment, the participants should follow the approaches to the collaborative design and design thinking around the top three centers.
On his side, the Deputy Governor, Qena Engineers congratulated this new project, which represents an addition in the field of urban development for the people of the governorate in general and Qena engineers in particular, pointing out that the club will provide social, sport, cultural and recreational services to the people of the province.
